Privacy Policy

Fairway Fellas ("we", "us") operates fairwayfellasgolf.com, an e-commerce store and golf day booking platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it under UK GDPR.

Depending on how you use the site, we collect:

• Account details — name, email address, password (stored hashed, never in plain text).
• Profile information you choose to add — handicap, home club, bio, profile photo.
• Order and booking history — products purchased, golf days booked, amounts paid.
• Payment information — card details are entered directly into Stripe's checkout and never touch our servers; we store Stripe's reference IDs and payment status only.
• Round/GPS data, if you use the Play feature — course, scores, and location data captured during an active round, used only to power your own scorecard and stats.
• Friend requests and connections you make with other members.

• To create and manage your account, and to process orders and golf day bookings.
• To send order confirmations, booking confirmations, and account-related emails.
• To show you your own stats, rounds, and leaderboard position.
• To operate member features — the player directory, friend requests, notifications.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We use a small number of processors to run the site:

• Stripe — payment processing for store orders and golf day bookings.
• Resend — sending transactional emails (order/booking confirmations, sign-in links, password resets).
• Vercel and Neon — website hosting and database storage.

Each only receives the data it needs to perform its function.

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in (session authentication). This cookie is required for the site to function and can't be disabled while remaining logged in. We don't currently use analytics or advertising cookies.

Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Order and booking records are kept for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. You can request deletion of your account at any time — see below.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@fairwayfellasgolf.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you think we've mishandled your data.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
